Corn gluten meal is a synchronous product for the production of corn starch and corn oil, also known as corn gluten. The color of normal corn protein powder is golden yellow, the higher the protein content, the brighter the color. The protein content varies greatly depending on the process conditions, from low to about 25% and high to over 60%. However, its amino acidstructure is not good, especially the lysine and tryptophan content is seriously insufficient, less than 1/4 of the fish meal of the same protein content . However, it has a high methionine content and is similar to fish meal of the same protein content. Another notable feature is that corn gluten meal contains high carotenoids and is orange-yellow. Corn protein powder with a protein content of more than 60% is more vivid in orange. Therefore, when using corn to prepare a diet , it also acts as a coloring agent, which is a specific feed for raising chickens . The following example is a regular nutrient for corn gluten meal.
